I am a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, with a B.B.A. in Information Systems. The scope of my course work included systems analysis and design, programming (COBOL, C/C++, Java, and HTML), database design, networking, web development, and IS/IT management.

I had always been interested in both computers and graphic design, and the first web project I did in school was like a light dawning: I could combine the two interests in a way that I find truly satisfying.

I enjoy the entire design and development process, whether the project is art-oriented, or purely business-oriented. I think that the Internet is one of the most amazing developments in human communication, and we're still only at the beginning. Incidentally, that's how I arrived at the name: communication + Kelley = Communikel.com.

I live in the Texas Hill Country—near the tiny town of Bandera—with my husband Jacques and one old dog and one young dog. I'm happy that I've finally found a business that allows me to work in my bathrobe in the middle of the night if I feel like it. But then that's one of the great things about the Internet...no one cares what you're wearing as long as you get the job done!
